Since 2024, Yayao Town’s Chenshan Village in Heshan City has been actively enhancing its reputation as the "Hometown of Tie Fu" (a renowned local figure) while developing innovative cultural tourism projects. Recently, the village creatively introduced a futuristic "space capsule" concept to its campground, offering travelers a whole new experience.

Located beside the Chenshan Fire Dragon Cultural Museum, the "Space Capsule" Campground features multiple uniquely designed capsules set amidst picturesque rural scenery. The blend of traditional ancient village architecture and sleek, tech-inspired modern elements creates a striking contrast.

The rectangular capsules, with their sleek white exteriors, exude a sci-fi vibe. Inside, they are spacious and bright, equipped with bedding, furniture, lighting, and full bathroom facilities. The bedroom features floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, allowing guests to enjoy panoramic views. Outside each capsule, a small terrace provides a perfect spot for relaxing, enjoying tea, or taking in the scenery.

Construction on the project began in April 2024 and was completed by December 2024. The site includes 8 space capsules, 2 wooden cabins, and 2 traditional village homestays, all supported by comprehensive amenities.

Spanning 30 acres, the campground integrates farm experiences, stargazing campsites, fishing, BBQ bonfires, and art sketching into a single agro-cultural tourism destination. Future expansions include an art hub and specialty dining, further enhancing the site’s appeal.

The "Space Capsule" Campground is part of Chenshan’s broader strategy to redevelop its ancient village. Next, the village plans to launch private kitchen dining experiences and an artistic heritage hub, combining culture, homestays, folk traditions, and art with tourism to drive rural revitalization.
